CONFERENCE VISA
Process for Applying for Conference Visa to India
International delegates attending the conference in India are required to obtain a Conference Visa to travel to India. The process is outlined below for your guidance.
If you hold an OCI card, these permissions will not be necessary.
INFORMATION REQUIRED FROM DELEGATES
You will be required to share the following details and documents:
- Full name
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Place of birth
- Passport details
- Date of issue
- Date of expiry
- Credentials / professional details
- Address
- High-resolution scanned copy of your passport
- Short CV
- Mobile number
- Copy of the passport
INVITATION & REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
These documents are essential for processing Government approvals required for your participation and for issuing the official visa invitation documents.
After confirming your participation, the Organizing Committee will provide:
- Official invitation letter
- Conference details and schedule
- Supporting Government documents required for visa processing
- NOC from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA)
- NOC from Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA)
APPLICATION PROCESS
Step 1: Share Delegate Information
Share the required personal, passport, professional, and contact details with the Organizing Committee.
Step 2: Government Clearance Process (India)
The Organizing Committee will initiate and coordinate this process. This process takes about 3 weeks.
Step 3: Apply for Conference Visa
Once the necessary approvals are obtained, the Organizing Committee will send you the Government documents and the invitation letter.
